Accent Français offers many activities, workshops, excursions, etc. adapted to your preferences. We believe that participating in the activities organized outside of class time really helps you understand the French culture while having a good time with your classmates and other students of the school.

No vacation in Montpellier is complete without discovering the beaches of the Hérault. Less than 20 minutes away from the city, the Mediterranean Sea unfolds a coastline that is sometimes wild as in Grand Travers or Aresquiers, sometimes urbanized as in Palavas or Grande Motte.

The Espiguette beach located in Grau du Roi is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Montpellier. With its dunes as far as the eye can see and this seemingly endless strip of sand, it offers stunning scenery. The Petit Travers beach in Carnon, the Aresquiers beach in Frontignan, the Pilou beach in Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone are all beaches that will make you appreciate even more the life in Montpellier.

Discover a multitude of canoeing routes in the green countryside around Montpellier, or in the heart of the Cevennes mountains.

Swimming and lazing around in the gorges of the Hérault: the canoeing trip we invite you to join here, will make you discover a river whose source begins on the Mediterranean granite and schist mountainside of Mount Aigoual, in the Gard department, at an altitude of 1280 meters, and flows into the Mediterranean Sea after a 164 kilometers long trip, across the Hérault department.

A good game of pétanque starts simply this way... launch your petanque boules closer to the target than your opponent does.

A little sunshine, a flat court, international friends you met in class at Accent Français and it's off to a great time of fun and recreation. Besides, in France, petanque is considered as a sport...good for your health!

Boat trips

Tempted by a boat trip out of Montpellier?
The city of Montpellier, nearby the Mediterranean Sea, offers a good number of cruises to do with your family or friends.

Boat trips in the Herault region start from several of the most important cities along the coast: from Carnon, you can go to La Grande Motte, Le Grau-du-Roi and Port Camargue for example. Boat trips near Montpellier allow you to enjoy a delicious meal with your family while enjoying the Mediterranean coastline. On the Canal du Midi, boat trips offer you a breathtaking view of the most beautiful cities in the South of France. If you have a sailor's spirit, several companies in the Hérault region offer to rent boats without a license for a trip to the sea.

Horse riding (about 1 hour) for beginners, in a protected reserve of the Camargue area, activity supervised by professionals, you will ride a Camargue horse.

Wine and local products tastings

Discover the famous cheeses of France, taste typical regional products, olive oil, tapenade, etc... participate in a pastry workshop, meet a chocolate maker of the city..and explore the castle of the vineyard.

The workshops, visits and tastings that we organize throughout the year, allow you to meet passionate people who will present you the products of their region, their history and how they are made. You will be able to visit a region, walk through the vineyards, taste the different iconic products of French gastronomy, cheeses, chocolates, pastries, discover the specialties of the South of France such as the Tielle de Sète, the brandade de Nîmes and the famous Roquefort Blue cheese...! It's the best way to practice and progress in French language!

Accent Français regularly invites you to participate in friendly events in order to meet other students with whom you share the same experience, but whom you do not always have the opportunity to meet in class or at the school.
