Ashtanga Yoga is characterised by the sequence of postures (Asana) punctuated by the Ujjayi breath, chest breathing associated with different points of concentration. The postures follow each other quite quickly. This yoga is at first a very complete physical practice, becoming progressively a way of interiority when the practitioner acquires experience.

Tuesday 20 September

6pm-9pm: Cooking class with Les Ateliers d'Arthur
During the adult cooking classes, you will make the entire recipe, and leave with all of your creations. An alternation of sweet and savoury recipes will be offered throughout the year.

Thursday 22 September

1.45pm-6.30pm: Excursion to Pont du Gard
Length of the bridge 300 meters, for a total distance of 50km. This aqueduct was used to supply water to the city of Nîmes, to supply the ancient thermal baths and fountains of the city. Come and discover this unique monument, visited by 1.5 million tourists every year. Walk in the nature along the aqueduct. River swimming possible in summer.

Come and get your end-ouf-course certificate ! Meet the team and spend a convivial moment with the other departing students.

1.45pm-6.30pm: Excursion to Nimes
Visit of the Gardens of the Fountain, ancient Roman necropolis built around the Nemausus spring, visit of the temple of Diana. Passing in front of the former great Roman temple: the Maison Carré and interior visit of the arena, former Roman amphitheatre, known for its gladiator and bull shows (interior visit not included). Visit to the Romanesque cathedral of St Castor. Free time in the city. Local biscuits offered.

4pm-5.30pm : Guided tour of the exhibition "Devenir" at the Pavillon Populaire
In the course of his career, Peter Lindbergh elevated fashion photography to the level of art, liberated women from an oppressive and unrealistic conception of beauty and proposed images centred on being, rather than having or appearing, thus challenging the conventions of the time. Starting with a biographical element, the journey undertaken by the young Lindbergh to "discover" himself, to become himself, the exhibition reveals how this uncompromising quest for authenticity guided his work throughout his career. The premise of this exhibition is that Peter Lindbergh was first and foremost an artist. His training as a painter and his interest in conceptual art are reflected in his photographs.

Saturday 24 September

9am-6.30pm : Excursion to Pezenas - Canal du Midi - Béziers
Pezenas, nicknamed the little Venice of Languedoc, does not bear this title for nothing. Indeed, it was for many years the capital of Languedoc and the resting place of several French kings, queens and aristocrats, who built many private mansions there. The city inspired Molière, the famous French theatre writer of the 17th century, for more than 10 years. After a tour of the town, we will take a break at the famous black sand beach of Cap d'Agde where its volcano exploded several hundred thousand years ago, creating black sand beaches unique in France. The panorama on the sea is simply splendid. We will discover the famous locks of Fonserannes of the Canal du Midi, the oldest canal in Europe, built 350 years ago, 250 kms long, it is of course registered in the Unesco heritage.
Finally, the day will end with a visit to Béziers, the region's wine capital, and its magnificent Gothic cathedral of St Nazaire, with its grandiose panorama over the Béziers region.

Sunday 25 September

8.30am - 6.30pm: Excursion to Gorges du Tarn
After crossing the famous Millau viaduct, we will start with a panorama of the gorges, then we will go down to the village of Sainte Enimie, on the edge of the river, this medieval village, built entirely of stone, is classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France. Guided tour then free time to eat (swimming possible in summer). Descent of the caves with a stop at St Chély du Tarn, stop and panoramic view at La Malène. Finally panorama from the most famous panoramic point of the gorges: the Point sublime. Panorama on the Millau viaduct.
