Ashtanga Yoga is characterised by the sequence of postures (Asana) punctuated by the Ujjayi breath, chest breathing associated with different points of concentration. The postures follow each other quite quickly. This yoga is at first a very complete physical practice, becoming progressively a way of interiority when the practitioner acquires experience.

6pm-9pm: Cooking class with Les Ateliers d'Arthur
During the adult cooking classes, you will make the entire recipe, and leave with all of your creations. An alternation of sweet and savoury recipes will be offered throughout the year.

1.45pm-6.00pm: Excursion to Sète
Visit of the peninsula nicknamed "Little Venice of Languedoc" and its multiple canals. Magnificent panoramic view from the top of Mont Saint Clair over the town, the sea, the mountains and the oyster and mussel fields of the Thau Lagoon. Visit of the church Notre Dame de la Salette and its surprising frescos. Walk along the Canal du Midi and the largest fishing port in the French Mediterranean. Panorama of the fishing boats, trawlers and tuna boats. City of many artists such as the famous singer Georges Brassens and the poet Paul Valéry. Free time.

1.45pm-6.00pm: Excursion to Pic Saint Loup
Discover Montpellier's favourite mountain, easy and magnificent, you will be surrounded by beautiful Mediterranean vegetation and will reach the summit to discover the most beautiful panorama of the region. A bottle of water and sports shoes are required. Tasting of Pic St Loup wine. Hike 2-3h approximately. Medium level.

Saturday 1 October

9am-6.30pm : Excursion to Aigues Mortes, Camargue and Saintes Maries de la Mer
Discover the Camargue and its specific animals: pink flamingos, bulls, horses. The ponds mix with the land or the other way round, man cultivates rice, salt and vines. 2 cities symbolize this region: Aigues-Mortes Visit of the 1st French port of the Mediterranean (departure of the last two crusades of the Middle Ages), fortified medieval city built in the 13th century, surrounded by intact ramparts of almost 2 km long, Tour des Remparts and visit of the Constance tower (former lighthouse of the 13th c. Panoramic view of the town, the ponds of the Camargue, the salt mountains of the "salins du midi", the pink flamingos, the pink salt pans. Free time in the city. Then visit of the Saintes Maries de la mer and its fortified Romanesque church, a place of Christian pilgrimage on the road to St Jacques. Pilgrims come here to venerate the relics of the St Maries (Marie Jacobée: aunt of Jesus and Marie Salomé: mother of the apostles Jaques and Jean). The gypsy community gathers here every year to celebrate the relics of their patron saint, Saint Sara. This village is considered one of the oldest Christian cults in the West.

Sunday 2 October

9.00am - 6.30pm: Excursion to Avignon and Pont du Gard
On the banks of the Rhône, the city of Avignon, a Unesco heritage site. Discover the famous city of the popes. First we will pass the famous 12th century St Benezet bridge, which is the origin of a famous traditional song, then we will visit the Romanesque cathedral Notre dames des Doms, we will have the pleasure to follow the path of the Promenade des Papes, with a magnificent panorama on the city and the region from the top of the Jardins des Doms. After a tour of the Palace of the Popes (interior visit not included), the largest Gothic palace in Europe built by the popes in the 14th century, we will discover a charming flamboyant Gothic St. Peter's church, twinned with the prestigious Basilica in Rome. The aqueduct is 300 metres long, for a total distance of 50km. This aqueduct was used to supply water to the city of Nîmes, to supply the ancient thermal baths and fountains of the city, it took no less than 20 years and 1000 workers to complete this titanic work (50,000 tons of stone just for the Pont du Gard part. Come and discover this unique monument, visited by 1.5 million tourists every year. A 40-minute walk along the aqueduct and back in the countryside. River swimming possible in summer.
