Ashtanga Yoga is characterised by the sequence of postures (Asana) punctuated by the Ujjayi breath, chest breathing associated with different points of concentration. The postures follow each other quite quickly. This yoga is at first a very complete physical practice, becoming progressively a way of interiority when the practitioner acquires experience.

2.30pm-4.30pm : Guided tour of Montpellier
Relive the prodigious rise and exceptional destiny that Montpellier has forged for itself over the centuries. A journey of a thousand years along the alleys of the historic centre to let you experience the very special atmosphere of the Ecusson.

Thursday 9 December
1.45pm-6.30pm: Excursion to Grotte de Clamouse + River with Jérémie
Visit of the famous Clamouse cave, classified among the most beautiful. It is a real Ali Baba's cave with the greatest diversity of crystals (aragonite and calcite) in France, a sumptuous illumination of this fragile environment, an original and magical show (pullover and shoes recommended). The visit lasts 1h30. Free time at the Pont du Diable, the oldest Romanesque bridge in France (1000 years old), a World Heritage site and a pilgrimage route to St Jacques de Compostelle. Swimming possible in the river.

12.15pm-1.15pm: Aperitif at school and presentation of certificates
Come and spend a convivial moment with the other students of the school, we will take the opportunity to give their certificates to the departing students!

1.45pm-6.30pm: Excursion to Sète with Jérémie
Visit of the peninsula nicknamed "Little Venice of Languedoc" and its multiple canals. Magnificent panoramic view from the top of Mont Saint Clair over the town, the sea, the mountains and the oyster and mussel fields of the Thau Lagoon. Visit of the church Notre Dame de la Salette and its surprising frescos. Walk along the Canal du Midi and the largest fishing port in the French Mediterranean. Panorama of the fishing boats, trawlers and tuna boats. City of many artists such as the famous singer Georges Brassens and the poet Paul Valéry. Free time. Wine tasting at the wine cellar of Frontignan

Saturday 11 December
9.00am-6.00pm : Excursion to Arles and Pont du Gard with Jérémie
First of all, we will take the opportunity to discover the Roman monuments listed as World Heritage by Unesco: the amphitheatre and its 25,000 seats, famous for its gladiatorial and bullfighting games today. Then we will continue to the ancient Roman theatre, the Baths of Constantine. We will then visit the cathedral. Finally we will visit the famous garden of the former hospital and night café, painted by the Dutch expressionist painter Vincent Van Gogh. Free time in the city.
We will visit the Pont du Gard. This aqueduct was used to supply the city of Nîmes with water, to feed the ancient thermal baths and fountains of the city, visited by 1.5 million tourists every year. 20 min walk in the nature along the aqueduct.

Sunday 12 December
8.30am-6.30pm: Excursion to Marseille with Jérémie
The first port and capital of the French Mediterranean, Marseille is a magnificent city between the Camargue, the Alps and the French Riviera. We will go up to visit the Basilica of Notre Dame de la Garde, a 19th century neo-Byzantine church, a pilgrimage of the Marseillais nicknamed the Good Mother. The view of the city and the castle of If, the famous Count of Monte Cristo, is exceptional. Then we will walk along the Old Port to discover the Roman Dock Museum and the narrow streets of the Panier district. We will finish the visit of the district by the old Charité. We will then visit the Notre Dame de la Major Cathedral which has one of the highest domes in the world. Combining Roman and Oriental styles, it is a real treasure with Byzantine arches, white marble and beautiful mosaics inside. Finally we will end our day at Fort St John and its towers which guard the entrance to the city's port. The view of the port is magnificent.
