Relive the prodigious rise and exceptional destiny that Montpellier has forged for itself over the centuries. A journey of a thousand years along the alleys of the historic centre to let you experience the very special atmosphere of the Ecusson.

6pm-7.30pm: Yoga class
Ashtanga Yoga is characterised by the sequence of postures (Asana) punctuated by the Ujjayi breath, chest breathing associated with different points of concentration. The postures follow each other quite quickly. This yoga is at first a very complete physical practice, becoming progressively a way of interiority when the practitioner acquires experience.
Price: 70€ for a card of 6 classes

Hard or soft cheeses, blue, bloomy, made from cow's, goat's or sheep's milk, raw milk, etc. They will no longer hold any secrets for you after this tasting in the company of a real artisan cheesemaker in his appetizing shop!

Thursday 11 August
1.45pm-6pm: Excursion to Nîmes INCLUDED IN THE JUNIORS PACKAGE (16+) and DISCOVERY STAY (18+)
Visit of the Gardens of the Fountain, ancient Roman necropolis built around the Nemausus spring, visit of the temple of Diana. Passing in front of the former great Roman temple: the Maison Carré and interior visit of the arena, former Roman amphitheatre, known for its gladiator and bull shows (interior visit not included). Visit to the Romanesque cathedral of St Castor. Free time in the city. Local biscuits offered

1.45pm-6pm: Excursion to Pont du Gard
Length of the bridge 300 meters, for a total distance of 50km. This aqueduct was used to supply water to the city of Nîmes, to supply the ancient thermal baths and fountains of the city. Come and discover this unique monument, visited by 1.5 million tourists every year. Walk in the nature along the aqueduct. River swimming possible in summer.

Saturday 6 August
9am - 6.00pm : Excursion to Arles and Baux de Provence INCLUDED IN THE JUNIORS PACKAGE (16+) and DISCOVERY STAY (18+)
First of all, we will take the opportunity to discover the Roman monuments listed as World Heritage by Unesco: the amphitheatre and its 25,000 seats, famous for its gladiatorial and bullfighting games today. Then we will continue to the ancient Roman theatre, the Baths of Constantine, the underground galleries of the former imperial palace. We will then discover the religious monuments such as the cathedral and its Romanesque-Gothic cloister. Finally we will visit the famous garden of the former hospital and night café, painted by the Dutch expressionist painter Vincent Van Gogh. The rest of the day will be spent discovering the charming village of Les Baux de Provence, which is well known as the "Balcony of Provence". This village, surrounded by cliffs, has a magnificent view of Provence. Its castle, Romanesque church, medieval streets and Santon museum will transport you into the history of Provence.

Sunday 7 August
8.30am - 6.00pm: Excursion to Marseille
The first port and capital of the French Mediterranean, Marseille is a magnificent city between the Camargue, the Alps and the French Riviera. We will go up to visit the Basilica of Notre Dame de la Garde, a 19th century neo-Byzantine church, a pilgrimage of the Marseillais nicknamed the Good Mother. The view of the city and the castle of If, the famous Count of Monte Cristo, is exceptional. Then we will walk along the Old Port to discover the Roman Dock Museum and the narrow streets of the Panier district. We will finish the visit of the district by the old Charité. We will then visit the Notre Dame de la Major Cathedral which has one of the highest domes in the world. Combining Roman and Oriental styles, it is a real treasure with Byzantine arches, white marble and beautiful mosaics inside. Finally we will end our day at Fort St John and its towers which guard the entrance to the city's port. The view of the port is magnificent.
