« I spent 3 weeks in the standard class during Oct-Nov 2024. I visited 2 other language schools in Montpellier before visiting Accent Francais and was not impressed with their welcome. When I walked into AF, Stephanie gave me a warm welcome and happily answered all my questions. I can't say enough about the patience and enthusiasm of the teachers I had and also the administrative staff. There will inevitably be students who are slow or fast learners and those whose native language makes it very difficult to learn French, but they really try to accommodate everyone. The facilities are light, modern and clean and the learning materials supplied definitely helped. The location is great, next to the main train station and stops of all the tram lines. Only a 5 minute walk to the Place de la Comedie. I can't comment on housing as I had an AirBnB already arranged. There are all kinds of activities and tours planned throughout the week and they seemed to be reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend Accent Francais, because I plan on going back in a couple of months to continue learning. If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change? I would like to have had more time so I could have taken more classes. It would be nice to have e-copies of some of the information that would be covered in the first week just for review or to temper down the anxiety of starting a new program. « I studied for 2 weeks at Accent Francais and really enjoyed my experience there! From the first day, the administrative staff and teachers were welcoming and very helpful. The teaching methods are a good balance of conversation, grammar and vocabulary. I also enjoyed meeting so many other students from all ages and various countries. The daily afternoon activities and excursions were my favorite and a great way to practice French with other students. The city of Montpellier is vibrant and well located. It's historically interesting with beautiful architecture, arts and museums, and great shopping. There's easy access to local bus excursions to neighboring villages as well. My two weeks flew by, so I hope to return again soon! »

« Teachers were incredibly competent and explained every subject with ease and sufficient examples to help us understand. Every lesson was different and every week a new teacher and new subject (which was very effective in getting to know all the teachers at the school). Classes were small enough for effective learning but big enough to include a diverse group of nationalities, ages and people. Although arguably the school was not super close to where i was staying, the location of the school in relation to Montpellier is excellently placed - right opposite Gare Saint-Roch - made it easy to find and close to all the things to do in the town centre. In terms of activities, they changed every week and always included something interesting to do for all ages. These activities were planned in the mind of making friends with other people your age and french capability which made the life of anyone who travelled alone very easy within the context of finding and making new friends. My housing was incredible, my host was lovely who took amazing care of me and i felt apart of the family during my 6 week stay - the cooking was great and never felt out of place in her home - anyone who stays with Nazia Diringee is blessed! »

« I spent one week in professional development at the school *French Accent*. I attended language classes at the C1 level. The teacher who conducted the lessons was professional, dedicated, and always well-prepared. She gave equal attention to each participant, catering to our needs and interests. I thoroughly enjoyed the lessons and the work, and I would gladly come back again. The school also offers afternoon activities for all participants, which I found very enjoyable. The guide was knowledgeable and engaging, so I had the opportunity to explore Montpellier and its surroundings in a short period. Honestly, what I liked the most was being accommodated with a host. I truly enjoyed spending time with my host, and our evening conversations after returning from school and excursions were both useful and inspiring. The accommodation was excellent, even luxurious. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. Congratulations to the school for organizing my stay so well. »

« I stayed at Accent Français twice in 2024 and can absolutely recommend the school. As a former teacher, I appreciate that the teaching is varied, you are trained to listen, read, write - and above all speak. The teachers are competent, they see each student individually and give encouragement and constructive feedback. It's a plus that you're in a group with students from different countries and of different ages. If you have any questions or need help, the administration is easily accessible. I've taken part in several excursions offered by the school and I think they were great experiences. »
